The framers of our Constitution, of whom many were Masons, established the Representative Republic that has governed our citizens for over two hundred years. Since time in memorial, Masons have assembled based on rules and principles that are reflected in many democratic governments. Masonic principles have influenced social behavior throughout the world; especially when people are free to choose their own destiny. When you reflect upon the history of our country and Freemasonry, you must be aware of the many resemblances in the structure and behavior of both institutions.

Be proud of our heritage and endeavor to practice the high moral and social standards exemplified by our fraternity. We as Masons must be ever vigilant and never allow the forces of evil to undo these great achievements.
